Earth's Shadow on the Moon

A partial lunar eclipse on the night of 28-29 October 2023, as the Moon passed through the edge of Earth's shadow. Unlike a solar eclipse, a lunar eclipse is visible from the entire night side of Earth at once, and safe to watch and photograph directly.
